| Ok so I just got home from the karaokee contest. I am freakin' worn out and I know that work is going to stink like.......well......nothing is comming to mind but yeah........Ok, so anyways I decided to sing Runaround Sue and Bless the broken road and there were 15 contestants. I got 3rd!!! $500 richer just for singing a little song. I was really suprised b/c there were some dang good singers. Praise God! I'm just on a high right now and cant sleep so that's why I"m up at 2 somthing in the morning just winding down. Thank everyone of you and I'm the original space cowboy named Patsy Cline that's going to bed now......whatever I just said I dont know, but it sure did seem right at the moment so i think I'll leave it! i wish ya'll enough | | |
| What's crackin' my peeps? Just found out a very interesting fact. My wife and I share the same birthday! Isnt' that the coolest? I thought that was pretty amazing in fact. Though she is 7 years older than myself, it's still sweet that it's on the same day. For those of you that dont know, I'm speaking of my wife to be,.....Rachel McAdams. Yeah....about that.....A man has got to dream sometimes right? My weekend was good, I got to hang with my bud Taz for a little which was great.......but other than that my weekend was ehhh. I have a major karaokee contest this comming wed night. Grand prize is $3500! 2nd is $1000 and 3rd is $500. There are 15 singers and you had to qualify for this contest so the people are pretty good. We get to sing 2 songs a piece. ANy suggestions for songs? Remember it's a rinky dinky country bar so country would be preffered but let me konw what you peeps think. ok i'm out......Wish ya'll enough | | |
| Today was so much better!Praise God!!!! Work was great, loving the promotion. Yeah Chris my phone is turned off for the moment, didnt pay it on time but it will be back on soon. Sorry!!! I'm not avoiding you! I love you buddy! Excited about tonight, going to Cleburne,TExas!!! Yes!!!!! My boss and his band are playing and asked if I would sit in with them tonight! It's crazy because these guys are freakin awesome! For those of you who know, but it's Jeff Gilbert, Lanny Martindale and a couple of guys I dont know, but it sounds like it's gonna be alot of fun. Sat morning I am painting the inside of my house!! Yes, lots of fun and then sat night going to Mineral wells to see one of my very good friends, Steve Stone play for Jerry Jeff Walker at a bike rally with another one of my buds, Casey Donehew. These shows are the coolest b/c you get to see redneck country in action in your face. It's one of the funniest things I have ever seen in my life, anyways, If you could be any Disney Character, who would you be? Why? Dont know who I'd be. | What a day......glad it's freakin over. Today was a rough day,at work , at home, and at band practice. Had a rough night, so I guess that would explain the rough day? ok, enough about that.....I'm over it! Ok, deep breath, in and out, in and out, in with the good, out with the bad......Ok, now were talking. Have you ever wanted something and then you got it and it wassnt what you thought you wanted? Or have you ever wanted something and you got it and it was just what you wanted but yet you still were not satisfied with it 100%? My dream is to do music full time, either through being a worship leader, a christian artists, a songwritter, or being a producer some day. The deal is that i can handle my dreams comming true slow but true, all Gods timing I know, but the part i cant handle is that I would think that the christian industry would be different than the commercial industry. sad to say is that it still boils down to who can make a dollar and who can make the dollars keep comming in. I know we have to rely on money to survive, but it just takes away part of the joy of doing something like this, people get so wrapped up in the idea, of" Well how much we getting paid for that worship conference" Bunch of carp!!
